Have your friends commented that your MySpace profile page is a little boring and needs some serious attention to liven it up? One great way to do that is to add music or Mp3s to your page. Not sure how to go about it? Read on for more information.
The dull way to add MP3's to Myspace
If you are interested in adding songs to your page from MySpace the first step will be to login to your profile and then look for the link near the top of the page that says Music. It’s located right between Classifieds and Videos. Now, click on that music link and it will take you to MySpace Music. This gives you the opportunity to browse around for any of your favorites or find some cool new music. There is a search feature here that will let you search by band members, band name as well as by musical influences. You can also perform a search based on ‘sounds like.’ If you want to restrict your search to a specific type of music you can do that too or even just look for bands that are from a specific geographical region or area.
After you have found the music that you are looking for you will need to click on that group’s page. From there you will see a list of songs and then check out the lyrics or listen to the songs. You can also rate the songs. When you have found a song that you want to add to your profile page you will need to click the Add button. It will be located next to the song you have chosen. A box should pop up that will ask if you really want to add the song to your page and you will need to click Add Song to Profile. Once you have clicked that button the song will be added and that’s all there is to it. The song you chose will play as background music on your page.
A better way to add an Mp3 Player to Myspace An MP3 Player from Profilepitstop.com There are also other options for adding music to your profile page other than adding directly from MySpace; however. One such option would be to add it with an MP3 player from profilepitstop.com - With this option you can select whichever graphic MP3 player you like, add your own selections of tunes and create your own play list. If you do not wish to add a song from the MySpace Music Library and already have a song on your hard drive that you wish to add, you can do so; however, first you are going to need to upload it to the web. If the MP3 file is only on your hard drive then it is only available to you and it must be on the web in order to use it on your MySpace profile page. If you already have your own personal website that’s great but if you don’t you can get one for free from somewhere like GeoCities or many other sites. You can upload your MP3 files to your free website. After you have uploaded the MP3 file make sure you write down the URL or web address of the file.
After you have selected a player that you like you can also choose among color selections to find the one you like best and coordinate it with your profile page. The next step after you have made these selections is to create your play list.
This can be done by getting the URLs or addresses of the MP3 files on the Internet that you like and want to be included on your play list. These can either be files you have loaded onto your own personal webpages or something from other pages. An example of such a URL would be http://www.websitename.com/folder/mp3file.mp3
After you have located the songs that you want, the next step is to copy the URL (CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) it into one of the MP3 boxes. Now, write the song title in the Title column of the box and then click Add to Playlist. Be aware that you will likely need to right click and then click on Properties in order to get the URL. Please note that it must begin with http: and must end with mp3 in order for it to work. After you have clicked on Add to Playlist then click on Go to Next Step. The code will then be generated for you and all you need to do is copy the code. Next go to your MySpace profile page, click on Edit Profile and then paste the copied text wherever you want the MP3 player to appear on your page.
