Using the Myspace inbox E-mail

MySpace offers a lot of great features and tools that allow you to keep up with all your friends and what is going on with them. One of those tools is the MySpace inbox feature.

The MySpace inbox is a quick and easy way to communicate with your friends and stay in touch. In order to use it, you must have a MySpace account but signing up for that is also very quick and easy and can be done in about two minutes or less. You will need an e-mail address in order to register; however but you can use any e-mail address to register even if it is a free e-mail account such as Yahoo! or Hotmail.

After you have registered you can be up and running with your own MySpace e-mail inbox that will allow you to communicate with all the friends you make on MySpace.

You will likely receive a welcome message from the founder of the site after you first register. After that you can then begin connecting with everyone on the site. It’s quick and easy to build a new network of friends. If you would like, you have the ability to invite current friends to join the site and chat with you there using your inbox. To make matters even simpler you can also import your entire e-mail address book from whatever e-mail program you are currently using whether it is AOL, Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo!. The site can actually do an automatic scan that will search for any address that is connected with a MySpace account.

Other search parameters are also available that will allow you to search based on different criteria such as school affiliation for example. If you wanted to do so you could do a search to find people that you went to college with or even high school with. You can also perform a search that is based on business affiliation and let them know that you are now connected with MySpace and can begin communicating with your inbox.

Inviting new friends to chat with you is also just as easy as the click of a mouse. All you need to do is click on the Add to Friends button on the profile page of whoever you want to be friends with. In the blink of an eye a message will be sent by MySpace to that member stating that you want to add them to your space. At that point they will have the ability to either approve or deny the request. If it is approved the person you want to be friends will show up in your Friend Space and you can begin chatting with them using your inbox or with the MySpace Instant Messaging interface.

The inbox at MySpace works a lot like any other mailbox on your e-mail server. It contains features such as Saved and Sent folders as well as a Trash folder. With the Bulleting feature you can post a bulletin and the message will show up on the bulletin board space of all your friends. This is a quick and easy way to let all of your friends know something at once. You also have the ability to delete bulletins that you post. Bulletins will expire in 10 days after they are posted. Your inbox also gives you the ability to manage your event invites.

With the MySpace inbox you get all the tools you need to meet and chat with your new MySpace friends, control who can add you to their Friend Space and view pending requests that you have made to add new friends to your space as well.
