A lot of MySpace tutorials ask for your Friend ID to customize your profile page. So what is it and where can you get it?

Your MySpace Friend ID is a unique identification number that is attributed to you when you create your MySpace account. Depending on when you registered, it is 5 to 8 digits long. Getting your Friend ID is a quite simple task once you know how!

These are two different ways of finding your Friend ID.

Step 1: log in to your MySpace account.

Step 2: on the left of your home page, you should find a section which looks like this:

Your Friend ID is the number which is at the end of your URL and Blog URL. Write it down or memorize it for future use.

Another way to get this ID is the following:

Step 1: log in to your MySpace account.

Step 2: go to your profile page using the “View My Profile” link under your picture. Once your profile page is loaded, copy the URL from the address bar. It should look like this:

Your Friend ID is the number at the end of the address. Grab it and keep it in a safe place!
